Gurus,

I have a couple of quick questions.

Can I send both my wife's and child's I-130s in the same envelope?

Do I need to send notorized copies of marriage and birth certificates or just photo copy is sufficient?

The guide says certified copies, but the instruction on the form (I-130) itself does not mention anything about notorizing the copies.

Thanks for your help

Same envelope is fine. Make sure, you arrange everything together for each application and attach the application fee with each application and separate them with binder clips or something so that it is easier for them to sort out.

Photocopies are fine.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

AUSC,

Yes, you can submit both petitions together.

Read the instructions on the form.

Which is it that you want to know about - certified or notarized? Not the same.

Thanks Yodrak. I guess others have answered my second question which was do I need to send notorized copy of the marriage certificate or just a photo copy would be sufficient. Now I understand that photo copy is sufficient and that no need to get it notorized.

Thanks everyone for your help
