Here´s an idea.

We all know they will request the criminal records of petitioners who submitted the I129Fs after March 6th.

So what if we send them?

Of course we would have to be organized. We could come up with a text, something like: "As stated by the Dpt of State, this is the criminal records of the petitioner..."

Anyways, something that we could all do the same, each case with its receipt number and attach the petitioner´s criminal records.

We could finish with, please contact if any other information is needed, or something like that.

I´m not saying they would approve every case, but it´s another try to make them contact us.

So they need the criminal records? Let´s send them!

I think that's an excellent idea. I'd try it if I were you. It can't hurt.

My husband had to get his criminal background checks done to visit me when I lived in Canada and it only took a couple of days for him to get it.

I think the first thing is to write what we will be sending with the Criminal Records.

In my head, it should be short, almost if they had asked us to send them this.

Nothing like "Well, you don´t give us information, so here it is".

It should be something proving our point.

Showing them that that is a statement released by the DoS, and a new request by the DHS, and that´s what we´re sending them.

As soon as we have this written, the petitioners can start collecting their criminal records.

And finally, we can start sending it to the Service Centers.

Anyone up for the first draft? Please guys, we have nowhere else to run.

It´s direct, simple, and in a way that makes them think we were expecting to be asked this and are simply submitting it.

I´m willing to do that, but I need to know what sort of info can be provided to USCs and how to obtain them. Go for Federal? State? Both?

Where do I (USC) go to get my (lack of) criminal background report?

Local police? I was recently naturalized to be US citizen. I went through complete fingerprinting FBI check. USCIS has all the reports... Still... I must wait. What a system!!!

I am thinking that USCIS can do the federal background check, no? Do they provide this info to the USC so we can submitt it instead of expecting USCIS to do so? State police I think the USC can get.

If you send them something without them asking for it with a RFE, they will probably just throw it out.

When you are sent a RFE, a worker has your application at his desk. When you send in the extra information, it goes to him.

Until you are at the stage where you are being processed, your application is in a big pile with a bunch of other peoples. How would they find your application to add the new information? Short answer, they won't even bother.

Guys guys!! You cant send something as a directive of anything regarding DOS. DOS and USCIS are two seperate entities. DOS has nothing at all to do with USCIS.
