I'm going crazy, its been 99 days since CSC recieved our petition :crying: . I know that's not as long as some people here have waited & they told us it'd be between 90 - 120 days but I feel like I'm losing it & need to know what the hell is going on. Do you think it would do any harm to email them? I don't want to pee them off & have them tell me to wait 60 days till I contact them again, like they have done with other people here. I'm flying to USA in 5 days for 3 months & I was really hoping the approval would've come by then.

What should I do?

I know the wait is hard, but 99 days is not past the deadline. Just be patient, it'll happen. I don't know if sending an e-mail does any good.

You mention that you're flying to the US for 3 months soon. Be aware they might question you heavily, as you have an immigration petition underway. They might think you want to immigrate now. I was flying to Philly for Christmas during my K1, and they questioned (hell, almost interrogated) me as if I was Al-Quaida. Have evidence with you that you intent to come back to UK.

At the same time it won´t hurt to call and see if there were any name hits, futher security checks or simply to let them know you´re still waiting.

I would say to just email them. The people who read and respond to emails are not too bad. My experience has been a lot better through the emails than calling the 800# because the 800# reps don't know #######!

Thanks,

Will it do any harm? Doubtful, except slowing someone down to send you an answer that says that your case is not yet due and it's in line. Those messages don't "pee them off" and make them give the 60 days reply-- there is simply nothing to tell you for another 60 days.

Will it help? Not. According to posted processing dates for your Service Center, you are not even at their processing date, much less 30 days past (when your case is officially considered overdue).

Writing to them to let them know you're still waiting is totally unnecessary.

You should not ever need 'courage' to call them, however. Trust me, they are not tracking anyone individually for retribution for too many calls. :) (not that it's a bad idea, miind you!)

It has been written so many millions of times: the date estimates printed on the NOAs are pure fiction and are not based in relaity, or something that you should rely on. Try not to rely on them, and don't be disappointed if/when your petition takes longer than the processing estimate printed on your reciept.

I took about 118 days from CSC just to get a RFE while at the same time people who filed 2 months after me were approved in less then 60 days at CSC so it is a total ####### shoot. My Rfe was for info they already had or did not require and I was told 30 to 120 days extra to prosses that. My congressman was told it would Process in 30 days and the NOA2 was approved after 3 days after the RFE info receipt so it is really a total ####### shoot but if it goes past 120 days I would call your congressman as that seemed to really help-maybe-

Good Luck
