My husband got home really late last night (was in Tampa) so I waited up for him like a good little wifey :innocent: well.... about 11pm he's rooting around in the fridge looking for a snack and somehow manages to spill a jug of OJ - ALL OVER THE FRIDGE!!! I walk in to find him haphazardly moping up the worst of the spill with a kitchen towel and looking completely lost  I get out the proper cleaning tools and he moves in to help - I swear, I just looked at him and told him to go away  He tried to help, but just kept getting in the way... He did the proper thing and avoided my wrath for the rest of the night :innocent:

I had to take everything out, all the shelves, drawers, food - there was not an area untouched by OJ. So 11pm on a work night I start doing a deep cleaning on my fridge - then the floor and countertops where all the OJ covered food was deposited before cleaning :girlwerewolf2xn:

I have yet to figure out the appropriate punishment

If I had a nickel for everytime I told my husband to "git out of mah kitchen!!!" I'd be a rich woman. :) He's always trying to add a lil of this or a lil of that to what I'm making!!!! He does the same thing to my 12 yr old. Everyday her and her sister come home and she makes them a lil snack, like hot dogs or a baked potato or sometimes pasta and she said he's always telling me to put "this" in or "that" in so now she says "get out of my kitchen!" too!:lol::lol:

Ohhh I can so identify! That goes for him cooking and cleaning using those big muscle groups (it's like the signs say at the amusement park -- "You WILL get wet. You MAY get soaked"). But one day I looked at my reaction. He was adding stuff to my cooking -- but it was usually an improvement. He was crowding me away from the kitchen sink when I was washing dishes, then washing them like a hurricane and piling everything into the drain basket instead of lining the plates up and so on -- but the dishes were getting clean, and I had time do other things. He was dumping cups of water directly on the kitchen floor to mop it -- but it was getting mopped more often. And here I was actually suggesting that he go park himself on the sofa and watch TV and I'd take care of things?? :bonk: Now that we're on opposite work schedules, how I miss being crowded away from that sink.

 That's cute. Thanksgiving Day is the only day that my father tells all of us to "git outta kitchen!" Us ladies (me and mom) and whoever else back away with hands up in the air... Good memories :)

Happy Thursday everyone. My "first day" back to work yesterday was great. I'm looking forward to the new quarter at the University, and had a great first class at the adult school -- it so full! (Wish that I get paid per student not hour.. hmm... it's enjoyable at the very least). Went salsa dancing last night with some girl friends. I was practically running around on the floor -- everyone says I danced great *huffing and panting as soon as I finished the dance* hehe

Hope all of you have a great day!

Good Morning ALL. Happy Thursday. I thought I was the only one dealing with the hubby "TRYING" to cook and leaving a big ole mess. It's cute and really sweet that he tries to cook but he leaves the biggest mess ever.

He tried to make some Hisbiscus tea the other night and he took HOTTTTT tea and tried to put it into a plastic container that instantly melted upon contact of the hot tea. He then tried to cover up the fact that he melted a container by throwing it in the garbage to hide the evidence. BUT since he is not the greatest cleaner in the world, I came to home to red stains on my countertop and him with puppy dog eyes trying to explain. Gotta love him but I did scream.....

STAY OUTTA MY KITCHEN! LOL

LOVE IS UNIVERSAL!
