I-693 medical form for AOS

Hi all, so from what I'm reading here, since my fiancee had her medical in the Philippines before she got her visa she will not need one for the AOS.

For the immunization part of the I-693, do we really need to get a Civil Surgeon to transcribe her immunization info onto the form?? Will they look at us like we are crazy if we go to a Civil Surgeon in our town and just ask them to fill in this form and sign it??

Here is a Civil Surgeon Locator designated by USCIS https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=of...office_type=CIV

They are the only ones assigned by USCIS to transcribe the vaccinations acquired to the I-693 form. :-)

Please fill in your timeline. A lot will depend on when the medical was done. But in general, yes, the I-693 needs to be done. Here's a link to the FAQS with important info (check for my posts, Shannon and David, for more links).

They will probably try to convince you that you need a full medical again, and charge you for it. You DON'T need it, don't believe their lies. Print out the instructions from I-485 and I-693, where it clearly says that K-1 don't need to repeat the physical if it's within 1 year of the overseas exam.

If worst comes to worst, you can use Dr. Arnold in Texas. She is a CS and will transcribe your vaccinations onto I-693 by mail for a small fee ($20).
