well, less than one month prior to our 2nd anniversary I received the 4 emails approving our AOS! Yay!

Sure, I would have liked them to wait a bit longer and issue a 10 year card but I am pleased as I can be to get the 2 year status as well - no more waiting and wondering and worrying!

This site and all of your wonderful support has just been great in helping me get here and remain sane:-)!

CONGRATULATIONS to you. It is not a given that you get a 10 yr card even if you have over 2years of marriage. We had 2years and month and I got a 2yr conditional. I am now going to call the NCSC and see if i can get it changed

I have just got through to the USCIS and wasted an hour of my life. They said it didn't matter how long i had been married the first Green card is conditional.

2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.
