Hello all,

Well, I posted here before about not getting a biometrics letter and was told that it could take 30-40 days. It's been longer than that now, and I am just wondering if there is a number I can call, or somewhere I could email. I don't see on anyone elses timeline that it has taken this long. Thanks!!

Since you received your NOA1 you could call the 800 number and see if the file number on that notice will help them find your case. Unfortunately, until the biometrics letter comes, there is no computer access. I suspect that the help line will probably try that number as if you didn't know how to use the internet, so expect them to tell you it is not on the system. They need to have an internal method for tracking this number that is not accessible to us. So be sure to tell them that this case file number is the one from the NOA1. Actually read to them the exact title on the form and don't call it an NOA1.

Perhaps your biometrics letter was misplaced or just not sent.

Well, I tried calling the 800 number. My receipt number is not in their system. Do you think I could get a representative?? NO!! It's only automated. Has anyone actually spoken with someone there?? There is no number to choose to speak with someone. This is very frustrating. All I need to know is how long it usually takes to get the darn thing.
