chances of getting a tourist visa from HCMC for a thai on holiday is very remote IMO

My Thai girl friend(soon to be wife) and I are planning a trip to Viet Nam in late February. She was refused a

tourist visa to the U.S. twice in Bangkok, altho she has two kids in school in Thailand. I know there are no

guarantees, but in your opinion what are her chances if we stick around Vietnam long enough to apply and have an interview there?

Chance would be better in Thailand. Good luck in trying in Vietnam. The consulate will know she tried twice and failed before in Thailand.

Hi,

I'm currently in the middle of trying to apply for visas for my parents. I got RFEs for Vietnamese police certificates. My parents are Cambodian but lived in Vietnam briefly almost 30 years ago. I've been searching for answers on how to obtain one but with no luck. My parents asked at their local Vietnamese embassy and were told they are unavailable. Now what am I supposed to do? Any help much appreciated! Thank you all.

Did they try to send an an affidavit signed saying that the Vietnamese said that they are unavailable?

Can that be sent in place of the police certificates? Are they acceptable?

Have no idea but if you got an RFE for a police certificate and the VN embassy said they were unavailable then I would think the RFE should be satisfied with a signed notarized affidavit saying that.

Booked my Flight to Ho Chi Minh I leave March 23rd 1pm out of San Francisco. I am verry excited and cant wait for the day to get here!!!
