Just got an e-mail from my Fiancee! I was out of town for a few days and in my absence my fiancee called the consulate and asked if she could pick up Packet 3! They told her to send them her passport with CMNN????(which she has already done) I never heard of anyone sending in the passport before getting Packet 3 and I have no idea what CMNN means. She is sleeping right now so thought you good people may have some insight to these questions!

CMNN is ID in Vietnam. She can come over to the consulate office and bring her PP + CMNN for them to verify her identification before they hand out PK 3 to her. That is how it process otherwise she can wait for them to mail it out. Good luck.

09/15/2007 Happy Wedding :) :)

Hey Vietnam.

Interview is May 18 in HCMC.

Did anyone here pass the HCMC consulate interview with a co-sponsor? My fiancee is hearing that her chances of passing the interview are very low because we are petitioning with a co-sponsor. The woman helping her with her application on that end said 10% :( . Co-Sponsor is my mother.

Also, can I borrow money from family to put in my bank account for sponsorship purposes?

She was my waitress at a restaurant in Saigon: Nov. 2007

NOA1: Aug. 28 2008

Ho Chi Minh City Consulate Interview: May 18, 2009

Passed the Interview, now jumping through some medical hoops

Not trying to take charge. If you or anyone wants to do it, no problem. If folks would like to have it but don't want to invest the time, I would be happy to pitch in. Let me know.
