Well, something must be in the proverbial VJ water...I also handed in my resignation today, hot on Reinhard's heels!

I'm leaving my job in publishing to join New York City Teaching Fellows, where I'll be teaching high school English in the big city and getting my master's degree paid for mostly by the NYC Department of Education. I've been out of school for two years, and I'm completely psyched about going back. I suspect that going to the NYC area will also give Ewen about a million more job options.

2 more weeks, then a week off, then off to the city with me! :D

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

wow abby, congrats! super news! its gonna be hard to race to AOS with you in another city now but oh well...

are you guys gonna get hitched before you go? i am sure nyc has millions of chapels and things that are nicer than the 2-3 they have in philly anyway... or maybe you can go to city hall and let gov. bloomberg marry ya! :thumbs:

Wowweee!!! Congrats Pax! :dance::thumbs: It's a really good program!! :thumbs: If you get assigned in Brooklyn or Queens, PM me! It will be challenging and you will grow! You have a lot to offer those students! Plus if bring Ewen in for show and tell, they will be charmed by his accent and love you forever! :D

HS English is great! I still remember and LOVE my HS AP English teacher. He had such an impact on my life...way beyond school.

And yeah, definitely let the Mayor marry you. You'll be on his payroll, so why not? :P
