What is next after your biometrics exam?

My wife is going for her biometrics exam tomorrow. She is in the process of getting her greencard and permanent residence status. We just wanted to know what the next step after the biometrics would be. We also wanted to know about how long out should we be expecting to recieve her greencard and permanent residence status. Also, she is from South Africa and I am from the US. She had been living for the last 7 years in England where she gained citizensh, but has not yet gotten her passport. She has all of the papers filled out to send it and she has already sworn in. It's just a matter of sending in the papers. She is in American now with me and for her to get her British passport, she needs an alien registration number. So that is basically what we are waiting for and when could we expect to get that? Any help would greatly help!
