I just came back from the local congressman's office, spoke with the immigration specialist.

Which was very nasty to me, did not even let me speak and said you just have to wait sometimes there is nothing you can do.

I do understand that, i said but i'm preg....and she cut me off and didnt want to hear it.

I felt like crying, it's been a year since i filed,. talk about going to someone for help!

As she was on the phone calling CSC she hangs up takes my paper work and says this is a waste of time.

Came back had me sign something and with her back turned handed me my receipts and said i'll email them and let you know.

I said sorry for wasting your time and left.

Sorry to hear that. I don't think people outside of our little visa world understand what we go through!!

Just curious have you had any problems when you were filing, like sending it to different address or anything at all?

Sorry to hear about ur experience. We have to remember that the employees do not take our individual cases personally. We are a case number to them.... and one of many. The problem is that they hear stories like ours day in and day out. There are too many ppl out there making it harder on those of us who try to enter the country or have our loved ones enter the country legally.

Keep your head up and don't let her attitude stop you. Keep trying until someone listens to you... Good Luck...

grrrrr that is so plain wrong - - take her attitude and place it aside - she said that she sent something via email?

Follow up and dont email cause they never answer - go in and you do have rights as a person within this system, its just whether or not they want to listen - do they have any other case workers there - can you possible ask for a transfer to another case worker?

Sorry to hear this, but normally with them faxing a request to USCIS and asking wth is going on, you will see some movement, so try to wait a week or two before pursuing other avenues.

Hang on hun and again sorry :crying:

I agree, this is unacceptable and I would complaint with that office about her behavior. Waiting a year for an approval is not "average" and something needs to be done about it.

Keep in touch with their office and insist that you need help with this approval and won't quit until someone explains to you why it's been taking so long.
