I *love* jumping on leaves!!!! Last night on my way to my car there was a nice bunch of crusty leaves and I totally didn't give a hoot who was looking I jumped on them and they went C-R-U-N-C-H!!!!!!!!!!:dance::dance::dance::dance:

I love the scene in "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" where Linus jumps into a pile of leaves with a lollipop :P

I remember jumping into a pile a leaves (this wasn't too long ago  ) and a BIG spider came out the pile and crawled onto ME!

I suggest my nummy sour cream pound cake with orange glaze. It creates nummy feelings in their brains and makes them want to do all kinds of nice things for others.

Morning everyone. Happy Hump Day to you all. I am praying for approvals for everyone waiting. I had to put off filing for Ahmed's AOS for 1 week because he needed 3 additional shots that Dr. Maher in Alexandria failed to tell us about.

Hopefully we will file by next weekend.

Make today a Great Day guys!

Argh. Doesnt that just frost your cookies? Maroc doesnt give the chicken pox shot and we didnt know it was needed for AOS. It took USCIS a year to finally tell us they just needed Ahmed's stupid chicken pox vacc.

By the by, HLM, wherever you are dearie, I added another Mehdi/Ayman pic to my siggy at your request. Enjoy :)

We just had to do the same thing this past week!! Only we didn't know at all, immigration lost our physical from February so we had to restart everything....man oh man it was expensive and we only had 3 weeks to completed it :crying: Chick pox shot was a killer in the pocket!!!

Yeah I am pretty pissed off about it. It was Tetaus, MMR and this new one Varisella WHICH is 2 doses! The Tetanus and MMR should have been completed in Egypt! Now we have to go get them and faxed the info over to Dr. Arnold in TX who is transcribing the Vaccination portion of the I-693 Because in Chicago, no one wanted to do the shots only, they wanted us to complete the Entire physical again for about $300. UHHH YEAH RIGHT! :)

LOVE IS UNIVERSAL!

Hey All - Happy Wednesday! We had a scary thing happen last night: My husband went outside to shake off the table cloth and realized that someone had tried to break into our house. The screen door had been taken off but they didn't get in. The police came and told us what we could do and took a report. Later on, we were upstairs and my hubby said, "Call the police back - they tried to break-in upstairs too. They cut the lock on the door. ":o:unsure: Fortunately, by some fluke, I had put a wooden pole in the sliding glass door jam to lock it. If that hadn't been there, they would have gotten in. So, this morning before I had to go to a drs appt, we dropped $97 at Home Depot on motion-sensored flood lights, padlock for our gate, a new sliding glass door lock, a sliding glass door security bar, et cetera, et cetera.

We're very nervous because this has never happened in our little neck of the woods.

Ash!!! Welcome back!

I hope you all have a great wednesday!

Well, that's what I'm aiming for. Just pisses me off that someone did that to us. It just happened to my neighbor's home last Friday night. Someone is on a crime spree.

I will be working on my dissertation this afternoon, which is a nightmare, I have this so called schedule I set up for myself, this includes all classroom work and dissertation plus my internship. I mean I broke that thing down to little tasks, after I finished that last night at 1:00am, I sat back and look at the schedule and realized I need massive drugs to accomplish this #######. Oh well coffee, and diet coke, and since I had all the problems with my teeth, and dentist’s trips, I am now losing weight. I should be looking pretty ragged by dec 5.

Turia - Sounds like you got some really nice neighbors. NOT, how anyone can yell at a little tiny animal.

star dragon - big spider crawled on you, I am so sorry, to me that is up there with the big horrors of life. Spiders, ugly things, mostly the one's down here the wolf spiders, they carry their babies on their back. OMG, just the thought of them makes me sick. There should be a support group for people like you and me, for I too have had a spider touch their skin also.

Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one.

Not too many young or middle aged white men, but a few young black men who sometimes seem like they're not as busy as I would like them to be. Also, Tallahassee has been plagued by a crimespree right now...they've caught quite a few of the guys doing this stuff. They all seem to be about 19-26 years old, young African-American males. Sucky.
