hi!! I have a friend who juz had her interview last friday..same as mine..the CO also told her that her visa was approved..she was not told anything like doc verification not even received a white slip cuz she paid her dv a month before her interview..she was assuming that her docs are at the embassy already even before her interview...she was just asked for the metrobank receipt and payed delbros delivery fee..didnt even received a pink slip( but was told by the guy at window 37 that pink slip isnt really a big deal, its fine even u don't have it..) she just wana know if her visa will delay? she lives in sta. cruz, manila and expects 3-5 days to have her visa from her interview date, but at this time when she checked delbros it says;"shipment in process at embassy".....does she need to worry? thanks...

THERE ARE A LOT OF CASES HERE WHEREIN THEY GOT ONLY PINK SLIP BUT AFTER VISA NOT BEING DELIVERED IN A WEEK, THEY WOULD FOUND OUT THEY ARE UNDER AR. A LOT OF TIMES ITS BECAUSE OF DOCUMENT VERIFICATION. SINCE NONE OF US IS WORKING AT US EMBASSY, THEN WE DONT KNOW THE REAL TRUTH. ITS ALL A MATTER OF LUCK.

So she wasn't given a pink slip either? I thought that the pink slips are the tangible proof of the visa approval? Interesting and odd at the same time. I am left to think that she has to take the CO's word for it. Could be that her visa in underway if she paid dv a month before the interview, i think that is more than enough time for the dv process...she just have to wait... as they say best of luck...o boi.... i am interested to hear about her receiving her visa even without the pink slip during the interview...

yes, she was curious why she was not given a pink slip but just let her pay for visa delivery..what she did, went back to wondow 37 and asked why she doesn't have a pink slip, but was just told,: its not a big deal, cuz its juz for the visa delivery"....maybe the CO has the word..."your visa is approved"...

Wow, you've gone past the third week "guestimate"...visa could be underway too...i am inclined to think that your dv verification was the bottleneck..well, good luck..at least you are at the last bit of the waiting process...unlike myself i have to wait for Oct 15 for a sputum culture result...which for sure will come out negative... o boi... :) just having fun while waiting... :)

Hay naku! I dont think it will happen anytime this week. I got a letter from them last September 9, its a white slip that has a check on "Wait until you hear from us" and a handwritten docx1. And when I called, they only sent my docs last September 8. Imagine, interview was Aug 27, then DV is September 8. So lets see...

And by the way Honey... the way I read it, usually after getting thru a bump in your journey in medical stage like the sputum culture test, everything will go smoothly na...especially in the interview. I've seen that so many times...like mysticjoyce, Brian-Charisma, oOpinkOo....etc etc.

Wow! Thats a bummer!! Worst case scenario: i have a feeling that they will have you wait further for a month, but i hope not...as you can see from some other forum threads in here..you cant really tell...just have a good time with your family while waiting for the last time... :) time is actually moving along...you'll never know it will be in hand... :)

Your friend is approved of her visa. She has to wait anyway. Waiting really sucks. But if the US embassy did not approve your visa application, they will notify you. Your friend is safe. -- Marie

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."
