Once you have a case number, you have to call in to schedule an interview (theres a fee). It will be on the letter that you will get from the embassy and on the letter of approval that your fiance will receive.

Thank you so much for the reply. We think that this is not the right time for us to schedule for an interview date(long story lol). Would it create a problem if we don't call to set up for an interview even if USEM already got our case?

I believe you have a 6 month window from the time your petition was approved- but not 100% sure on this.

Hmmm... i believe its only 4 months. You can find the validity period on the notice of approval (which your fiance got). Its on the upper right side where it says "Notice Type: Approval Notice" and underneath that says "Valid from XX to XX".

Actually since now the embassy had given us an option to schedule our own interview, it is in our discretion to do so. But i suggest you do that within the validity period. So it wont be a waste.

if ur not in a hurry, just wait for the letter from the embassy before u call their call center to set for an interview appointment. BTW,applicant are responsible to set for an interview sched thru their call center.

May I suggest you pay for your document verification (DV) ASAP in metrobank and inform Delbros ASAP and ask for an update. So that once you have decided to schedule your interview your DV is already being processed by the NSO. And luckily during your interwiew your DV is with the embassy already. By doing so you will have your visa within 3 days after interview, that's if you are complete with all the papers aside from the DV. Good luck!

I suggest you take jamesNrei's advise. Lest you'll be waiting for your visa longer than usual after the interview (if it went well).
