Well my wife and I got our first RFE. It was on Part 1 #20 of the DS230. I just found out today after calling the NVC OP. Do we have to wait for the letter from the NVC or can my wife overnight the corrected form directly to them with a letter and the printed barcode sheet? I searched the forums here and I couldnt find anything concrete in regards to the RFE's.

Also how long will it take once they receive the corrected info on part 1 to approve it?

04-12-08 Married

06-11-08 Mailed I-130 Package

06-18-08 NOA1

08-08-08 NOA2

10-22-08 Interview USEM

10-28-08 Visa Received

11-01-08 POE

That was fast!

Got to love the fact my wife was preggy and even with a RFE @ NVC she was still here in under 5 months!

Provided you know what the RFE is for....get the signed, corrected version of DS230 from your wife ASAP. Then when you receive the letter from NVC then you can send out the new form immediately....

2008-09-17: IV Bill status "PAID" on NVC website

2008-09-23 : Mailed DS-230

2008-10-01 : Case Complete

2008-11-01 : Medical Exam

2008-11-06 : VFS Office visit

2008-11-20 : Interview ...APPROVED

2008-11-22: Visa in Hand

2008-12-12 : POE in Chicago

2009-01-03 : Received Welcome Letter

2009-01-30 : Received Social Security #

2009-01-12: Received Another Welcome Letter w/ GC

2009-01-12 : Received Green Card

Well its because of incomplete info on the ds230...places she lived from the age 16, Im just having her send it overnight to the NVC from the philippines. I should be getting the letter in the next few days. I talked to the NVC OP like 3 times to make sure.
