You say I am disseminating rightwing propaganda. I am an independent Steve, and seen from my vantage point, you are by the same token, spreading Leftwing propaganda equally peppered with half-truths, hearsay and flat-out-lies

Interesting how your OP contained 34 links but apparently is only a case of , and I quote, "half-truths, hearsay and flat-out-lies".

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

And Jabber doesn't help with his 'Clinton' consperacy theories either.

When two self professed Democrats post hit pieces on Obama from Right Wing blog sites, that's not a theory, that's reality. PUMA exists...just visit their website and read the blog entries. Members brag about doing just what these two have been doing here. That's fine...to each their own. We've had NumbersUSA members post anti-immigration propaganda here as well. I'm just calling a duck a duck.

Calm down Steve , calm down... :)

You can label me anything you want and it would not faze me the slightest bit.

I am no longer affiliated with the Democratic Party. I am an independent.

As for you labeling me as PUMA, well, I really don't mind. So, what's wrong with PUMAs?

I am informed by all sources: right left and center and take what I like from each.

Now I see a clear pattern in surrogates like Gov. Sabellius, MSM and lefty bloggers bringing up the same topic of racism all in a chorus. As a keen observer of American politics, I see orchestration. There is orchestration on both sides and hell, why wouldn't that be? This is a pesidential election and both sides have very high stakes. It's highend politics, right?

I am neither a wingnut or a moonbat. But I will vote for McCain. I have already made my decision. So spare me the "Judas" wail for heaven's sake...

We have to active PUMA members here on VJ, working vigilantly to prepare Hillary for 2012. That's their plan anyway.

BTW there are many democrats who share the same sentiments as PUMA but that does not make them PUMAs.

Dev, I honestly don't care who you or metta vote for. It's the dissemination of half-truths, hearsay, and flat out lies, that you and metta keep posting day in and day out on the Democratic ticket that shouldn't go unchallenged. And as a Democrat, I find it tactless to see other Democrats posting this ####### from Right Wing blogs.

Steve, if you are such an objective truthseeker, why is it that you don't challenge all the moonbat propaganda that we see dominating this OT ? I don't see you challenging half truths and outright lies like Palin belonging to Alaska Independence Party to the very blatant attempt to scandalize Palin like the current national enquirer piece  Why, I even see you repeatedly posting stuff from moonbat blogs like HuffPo and carpetbaggerreports...

my suggestion to you Steve is to please always challenge your own assumptions before you denigrate the messengers of disagreeable notions and points of view.

In case you miss I scrupulously stay away from attacking messengers even though i may disagree with the message.

metta - it's too bad you fail to see the irony in calling others propagandists. Regardless of whether you are registered Democrat or Independent, if your political views were so in step with Hillary Clinton's during the Primaries, then posting hit pieces on Obama from Right Wing blogs is tactless to say the least. I get that you don't like Obama as the Democratic nominee, and by all means post whatever half-truths, hearsay and flat-out-lies you want to post, but I'm going to call you on it. It's just too bad that you have chosen to express your dislike for the Democratic Ticket by disseminating Right Wing propaganda which contradicts with your core political views. Have at it, brother.

I haven't really taken the time to count Steven's propaganda pieces- but he certainly isn't FOCUSING on hatin' one candidate in particular with mostly bland op-ed pieces that cater to something other than the obvious.

I suppose some folks would rather take the price of tea in China as the price of a latte in Your Town, USA.

And I am neither a registered Democrat nor Republican. But I can definitely tell the difference between what issues are critical for this nation and which ones are silliness.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

you voted Nader in 2004, doesn't that make you an independent?

I am still undecided. Your rabidness is not helping me entertain the idea of O tho, I'll admit. If anything, it's pushing me away. Could be 3rd party, could be something else. 41 days to decide!

And I find your 10 new topics/op-eds a day OTT as well. Guess what - I don't click on it! :P

It's a public board Steven. Your mission doesn't have to be to take down all non-Obama lovers. Surely you have other things to do?

Dev, you can post whatever the hell you and metta want to....never said you couldn't. I'm just calling two ducks, two ducks.

Actually, no you called us PUMAs. It was only 7 hours ago as well. How quickly you forget.

While that may be the case for yourself, hard to believe though, Steven has always been biased; Since the first post I saw of his.

And that is not even factoring in any of his left wing oriented articles he posts. He is entitled to his opinion but it is laughable when he accuses others of something he is extremely guilty of doing himself.

You are an ardent supporter of Hillary Clinton posting hit pieces on Obama from Right Wing blog sites. That speaks volumes for many here I'm sure. ;)

Perhaps so. All I see are "labels" he uses quite accurately. His bias is present, yes. And that same bias addresses issues, not gossip.

AJ also posts spurious hit pieces only from the other side of the fence - but you normally have nothing to say when he does it. What's good for the goose....

Perceived personality might do with the trick on that one.

Simply put Steve is a fukcing wingnut! So why argue with him? You could take a line of bullshit from Obama, slam him in the head with it and he'd try to kiss it.

Shite were in the middle of a financial mess and Obama is preachin about how he's gonna spend our money on more programs. I guess thats not gonna happen, is it? There goes your beloved healthcare, tax cut, and all the other bullshit he's been promising.

like calling all metta & my articles a 'dissemination of half-truths, hearsay, and flat out lies'? Yet he posts www.michelleobamawatch.com as a valid source?

Or perhaps it's the labelling of us as PUMAs, which has no truth, just a label slapped on us simply because we aren't O lovers. Because we dare question the Democratic nominee.

Like I posted before- i don't keep track of people's post counts. I do, however, keep my mind on the issues at hand here. And posting away, every time its seen here in OT, Steven does not to my knowledge dedicate nearly 100% of his topics to derogatory and immature topics that should have little effect on the majority of voters anyway. No matter how close this election comes to be.

This is not an all or nothing phenomenon. Nevertheless, there are posters out there that do what they do in a very predictable way. Forum searches can resolve that without a reasonable doubt.

What's good for the goose? What are you talking about??? Have I told metta or Dev to stop posting??? Good grief....I don't know how I could have made my points any clearer.

There must be an unwritten rule in the TOS that states, ahem... "All flatulent political pieces need be multilaterally lambasted by all potential sides of a political debate."

With the supporting subrule, "All potential sides of a political debate must represent themselves in any flatulently represented political piece. Lack of time, interest, or absence from the OT section are not approved reasons to waive this subrule."
