Hello everyone, just wondering I have done my biometric last Sept. 13 and until now I have no clue where's my case heading since I couldn't find it online then I only submitted DS 2035 vaccine worksheet in lieu of form I693 so I'm expecting RFE. Now that I'm pregnant do I still have to compile if ever I receive RFE for my medical? Or it is to early to expect RFE? Thanks in advance for taking time my questions!!!

Sometimes RFE comes right away as your case if items are not complete and if they are not checked. Sometimes they come afterwards when they are scheduling you for an interview. Its really hard to tell if you will get it. If it is something that is required by them, you might get it at the interview. You will still have to reply to USCIS if they send you an RFE since you are required to reply to it within a certain amount of time otherwise they can deny your case. If you do get an RFE and you cannot act upon it, inform them by calling AND writing to them and telling them about you being pregnant.

You can get an RFE at any time during the process, right up to the interview and I'd think after if your case was not approved at interview.

As to the medical, some people have been approved using only the DS 2035 vaccine worksheet, others have received RFE for medical. Depending on the date of your medical, you may just need to have the vaccine worksheet transcribed onto an I-693.

As far as complying with the medical requirements, you would still have to comply, despite the pregnancy. However, what you might need would depend on the date of your previous medical. Also, should you require additional vaccines (not likely if your medical is in date) some vaccines are not given during pregnancy. I'm not sure about the TB test, (again depends on the date of your medical) but if that is required, you would have to have that (pregnancy does not waive this).
