... but I couldn't find anything recent that specifically related to an I-129f.

We received our NOA1 back in July, so I at least know that our package is at CSC, but our case is still not coming up online... anyone else have this issue and things still proceeded as expected? I am worried that after it was received it has been misplaced or something. It seems like there's probably no point in calling, since the phone person will also not have any info on their computer, right?

  • 7/7/08 -- I-129f sent
  • 7/9/08 -- I-129f received at CSC
  • 7/24/08 -- NOA1 (finally!)
  • 12/2/08 -- NOA2 (WOOT!!!!)
  • 12/8/08 -- received at NVC
  • 12/22/08 -- packet 3 (with packet 4 attachment instead of checklist :P)
  • 12/29/08 -- packet 3 sent back with bits and pieces that I pulled together to make up a packet 3
  • 1/5/09 -- actual packet 3 received, but found out by via e-mail that they were satisfied with what I had already provided
  • 2/10/09 -- found out via call to DoS that my interview is scheduled!
  • 3/16/09 -- interview!!!! APROVED!!!
  • 4/7/09 -- MOVE!!!!!!!!
Crossed at Detroit/Windsor Tunnel... pretty painless, about 45 minutes, inexperienced officer, asked for and received EA stamp
  • 4/13/09 -- Married in New Orleans!!!!!!!!
  • 5/30/09 -- Filed AOS/AP/EAD
  • 6/1/09 -- AOS etc received in Chicago

That is weird, our NOA1 notice came and I went online right then and registered and seen our file. I would call and ask if that's unusual. It would'nt hurt.

Ok, so apparently the 800 number doesn't work in Canada, and the non-toll free number that they list on their site is out of service. Do they have a special department of people that sit around thinking up ways to make things as difficult as possible?

Is there an email address that might get this looked into? I can't seem to find anything.

I realize we are probably worrying for no reason... I have seen mention of people who were approved without their case ever showing up online, but I would hate to wait for several more months, assuming everything was ok, then find out that our package has fallen under a desk and gotten buried in dust balls.

You'll have to get your fiance to call to find out, this is assuming he is in the US. It's best to call as early as possible mid-week as wait times can be horrendous (like 2hours). An operator can then check into it for you.

My wife and I filed for the I-130 and after my NOA1 letter was received I could see it online immediately. You can then sign up for online account and notifications and they will e-mail you when you get updates or when your application is approved (NOA2), but make sure to check your Spam-box as mine NOA2 was sent there in YahooMail.

Good luck

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. He pretty much has less than no patience for anything that is at all annoying
