Job Search while waiting for EAD

I have already had biometrics. I am waiting for my EAD to be touched. In the meantime, I have been filling out applications, but am bothered by the question, "Are you legally authorized to work in USA"? What is your advice regarding job search while waiting for EAD to arrive?

Dpends on the type of position applying for... If it is one that will be an immediate hire/start upon interview, you might be hard pressed to accept this position if offered... If it is one you can control or manage the start dates, then why not.....

I already applied for work but once they called me I told them that Im still waiting for my work permit...sometimes they ask for approximate month when will I received my work permit and told to call them back once I have it...Good luck to us

Hello :-)

I have been in the same situation... waiting for my EAD to come and looking for a job at the same time. It`s not an easy task to accomplished since everywhere I look they ask for my work authorization (and I do understand that ).

I guess, all I can do for now is just wait for it to come -hopefully soon!
