Payment for AOS

Hi me again.

Im sending checks for my AOS application. When will these get deposited??

As soon as they received my application (sending thru FedEx - so within 3-4 biz days)?

As soon as an officer looks over it?

After getting interviewed?

Or when we are already approved?

These are big money, just want to make sure my bank has enough when they get our checks.

Anticipate anywhere from next week to Christmas.

This is dependent upon if all of your ducks are in a row when you submitted your application.

If you do like I did and do a royal screwup and forget something, you'll see your checks back in the mail within about 3 weeks.

Whatever you do... DO NOT LET THEM BOUNCE!!!!!

I'd assume the best way to ensure that you have the money is by getting a money order.

Generally speaking, after your application is received at chicago, you will receive a receipt(NOA) within 7-10 days. The checks usually get cashed couple of days prior to receiving the NOA(assuming the amounts on you checks are correct).
