I am happy for this approval. But why does it have to be so bloody slow for me? I applied in August. Sorry guys, I just hate all the stupidity they keep justifying. Whatever happened to fairness and equality? The system sucks big time! minus points for the US - red tape and power tripping... They all freaking suck!

I guess that makes this a new record? I can't imagine anyone else has had faster processing, it really does make me wonder what's going on there that some people are getting approved so far out of order.

As far as I know I'm just going to be a typical application that takes a typical amount of time, so I don't have it so bad yet (I mean sure it sucks... but it's not outside of the posted processing times kind of sucky). I would pay a slightly unreasonable fee to be placed at the front of the queue for processing... I'm not sure what that amount actually is, the service centers would just have to try me by posting some amount to do that and see what happens haha (honestly... I think what happens is a huge pay raise because I think almost everyone who knows the processing times would do it, so it's like raising the fees without any drama).

I'm starting to really hate you september VSC filers, with your ridiculously fast noa2's! This is the second time for september someone has gotten a noa2 really fast without an expedite (that I know of anyway). There has to be something screwy going on with how they are processing applications, possibly even a change. Could they have hired a bunch of new, temp people to handle the incoming petitions while the backlog is being caught up or something?

I'll go ahead and admit I'm just jealous, not that it's obvious or anything... I'll be happy to be one of the normal ones who only have to wait about 5 months and not get stuck in some FBI name check for a year and a half...

Sorry, I do feel your pain! But good news I did get the NOA 2 hardcopy! So it's official!

wow! :dance: congrats and i'm so happy for you!

congrats on your NOA2 hard copy,it's official yes!!

I think that'd be a bad move, what do you hope to accomplish with it, it won't speed up older petitions, but if you are lucky and they act on your letter, you may manage to get a new rule for VSC to insure that they don't accidently process a case too early... what? this one is only 4 months old... throw it back in the box! A couple people pretty much won the lottery, we don't know how or why, I think it's a bad idea to make a formal complaint about it (Unless you happen to be one of the lucky ones who are sitting close or outside of their processing times and want to use it as an example... but I still think it's a bad idea then, as you may be facing long delays for an entirely unrelated reason like having a common name or someting).

We are all insanely jealous of course, but don't let us prevent you from celebrating! Actually it gives me renewed hope that someone is going to pick up my petition soon! I read on here somewhere that it really only takes about 15 min to approve a petition. Their backlog must be huge! I am imagining stacks and stacks of files piled up on each other--workers have to climb up ladders to reach the next one on top. Maybe someone knocked over a pile, and yours somehow got on top--who knows?

I filed through VSC. I wonder how many workers their are there?

Anyway....CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
