Finally married, now let's file

We finally got married and we are now ready to to file in the forms

We have been reading trought the guide and we are preparing everything. Do you think the below list is enough?

Documents attached to our IR-130 application (CR1)

1.filled up form 130 (2 pages)

2.filled up form G-325A of my wife (petioner) (4 copies)

3.filled up form G-325A of me (4 copies)

4.xerox copy of both passports

5.xerox copy of both birth certificates

6.Original marriage certificate

7. 1 pc. passport size picture of my wife

8. 1 pc. passport size picture of me

9. copy of the check amounting $355.00 (money order)

as per bonafide wedding we would like to include

10. photos of our visiting and wedding celebration pictures

11. copy of joint bank account

12. receipt for wedding bands with engraved rispettives names

We are not sure about the affidavit sworn letter. Is that necessary and has to be signed by a notary????

Hi you have everthing you need. However, you won't need Xerox copy of passports, pictures, joint bank account statements, wedding band receipts etc until later. Right now all you have to send are the basic documents requested with the petition,

I-130

G325A 4 copies for petitioner

G325A 4 copies for beneificiary,

Copy of berthcertificates for both

Copy of marriage certificate

Passport sized photos and money order.

In the guide it says we have to proof the bonafide

We sent proof of bonafides, including emails, chat records, 2 sworn affadavits and photos of wedding and other trips together.

You dont need to send original marriage certificate for I-130 process, just a photocopy. You will need to send the original to NVC at a later stage so hang on to it.

i think your joint account will be enough for a bonafide marriage.. its co mingling of financial resources aready..

i hope you can file soon so you will be a september filer just like me.......
