due to a stroke, my dad is unable to move his right hand and therefore is not able to sign his name. his petition has been approved, and we have just realized that he won't be able to sign any documents that will be sent to him. has anyone been through this or knows anyone with this experience. will nvc accept something like a fingerprint as a signature? any ideas or suggestions? thank you in advance.

The only paper that he will have to sign is Part I of the DS-230, that's if you e-mail the DS-3032 to the NVC. Give them a call and ask them what they will accept in lieu of his signature on this form.

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
