I can't believe it!!! Just got an email from USCIS saying that I've been approved!!! And both I-129 and I-130 show Approval Notice Sent on the USCIS website!!!

This was totally unexpected...thought it would take atleast another month or two. All thanks to God!!! I pray this is a sign of good things to come for all of you too at VSC!! :dance:

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Congratulations! You sent me a sign of brightness and hope--much needed. I just spoke with an INS rep today who seemd quite compassionate, esp since I shared my emotions and feelings as of late. It is so scary just how long it takes and just how often they say, "We are processing your app, like the others. Try back in a few weeks if you don't hear anything." I don't blame the reps who are answering the phones, but sometimes, it's just all-encompassing. I check the email every day, check the uscis site every day, check the mail box and nothing! Well, thanks for giving many of us HOPE that something is happening at VSC. Our dates are around the same time. I just pray we get good news tomorrow or some day this week.
