Traveling inside US with expired GC

I suppose I'm asking a stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway just to be 100% sure. My GC expires near the end of next month, we've filed to remove conditions. I'm sure enough we'll have the NOA in plenty of time but we're thinking of taking a trip a few states up in November and we're flying. In the event Murphy's law struck and I didn't have the NOA in time I'd still be ok to travel within the US.

You should be ok in the US. The only thing they request is a state issued driver's license or passport when traveling.

Use your drivers license for ID - you don't need to show the airlines your green card if you are travelling domestically (we never do)

Thanks for the advice.. luckily my drivers license is still good and won't expire when my GC expires!
