FYI!!!

The supplemental form for Guangzhou in China has been updated. If you haven't sent in your forms to the NVC yet get the updated form from the NVC web site. I am not sure if they will still take the previous version.

Yes this is for the NVC from the NVC site. In the country specific documents you select GUZ and you get the supplemental form which has to be sent to NVC. This is a packet 3 document not packet 4. It was just changed so some people like me have the old version. I am about to send the new version to my wife so she can sign it and we will have it ready. Just letting the China filers here know about it so they don't have problems later.

You may want to post this to the China regional forum, and perhaps CFL if you are a member there.

I see what you mean: http://travel.state.gov/pdf/pk3_supplement...T-0001-0809.pdf

1) GUZ case number

2) Visa Category

3) Name of each applicant in Chinese characters

4) Current mailing address in Chinese characters with postal code

5) Date of Marriage (if applicable)

http://travel.state.gov/pdf/pk3_supplement...T-0001-0809.pdf

I believe they just want this info written on this form, #3 and #4 make sense, sometimes this info is not easy to read on I-130 and DS-230.

?, We are at the DS 230 Docs Process step in CHINA. On the Petitioner Documents- Police and Birth Certs. Where can we read, how the USA wants the certificates done and notorized in CHINESE Language.

Can the Police paper just have the red stamp from the Local station and then take it to a notary to have it translated into English with there red stamp?

And do the same thing with the Birth record (There is NO Birth Cert).

B) Thanks

All documents they want submitted need to be translated and notorized along with the originals. You should also get you self of orginals notorized and translated to take to the interview just to be safe.

NVC needs the original translated booklets that came from the Notarial Office. (Gong Zheng Chu) I recommend always getting three sets of originals, one for NVC, one to carry to the interview and a spare.
