Hi everyone,

I had my AOS interview on September 4th and was approved. She told me I should get my card in the mail within two weeks. I receieved the "card production" email on the 9th, but still no card. Is anyone else with an early September approval still waiting? Also, do they typically send you an email when they send the card? I am getting a bit worried...

Our case was approved Sep 9th. We received the welcome letter last week, which stated that the card should be arriving within three weeks of the letter. No card yet.

I don't think you have anything to worry about... just be patient. :star:

Same here, interview and approval Sep 15, welcome letter received Sep 19, stating should receive card within 3 weeks, otherwise call them. No email or online updates all this time though.

10-Apr-08...Filing date for I-130/AOS/EAD/AP

02-May-08...Biometrics

31-Jul-08...EAD Card received

15-Sep-08...Interview (APPROVED)

27-Sep-08...GC received

03-Aug-10...Filed I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

06-Aug-10...NOA 1-yr Extension Letter

10-Sep-10...Biometrics

02-Dec-10...ROC approved! (Card production ordered)

I know, I know. I should be more patient....but I just want the card already!!! LOL. I just checked my case online and it was updated with today's date. I got all excited thinking it would say that they sent the card...BUT NO. I got another silly "card production" message! Grrrr!! This is the third one I've received since my interview. Maybe this time it is the real thing. We'll see!

today i got another update on my case. i got an approval notice. they told me they sent it in the mail. i thought i got this already. isn't the welcome letter an approval notice? or does the approval notice actually include the green card? ugh, i'm confused.
