I-134 question

I was calling the IRS for my tax transcript for the last 3 years. I was given two options. The first one was a transcript (partial?) for free which will take 2 weeks to deliver and an option to get a photocopy that will take 2 months to get and a cost of 39 dollars per photocopy of transcript. Right now I am on hold waiting to speak to someone at the IRS but not very confident they will know which one I need for the I-134. Thank you for any advice.

All u need is the partial accepted for immigration issues, mortgages (oh those dont exist anymore sorry) etc.,etc. no need for the one to pay - it really only takes about five days to receive

Get the free transcripts, that's all you need.

Why do people file their tax return and not keep copies?

Thank you for your fast replies, its good to hear that I only need the free transcripts from the IRS especially due to the time that might take to receive the photocpy one and of course the fees. I do keep 2 copies of my tax returns (turbotax) but was told that I needed the transcipt. At least now I will have both. Thank you again.

As far as I know, a copy of your tax return is fine as long as you sign it and include copies of all the attachments (W2's etc.)

We have never sent transcripts to USCIS for any phase of the process.
