I filed my I-751 in July of 2008 (VSC....groan) and had my biometrics done a month ago. I have signed up on the USCIS website to get email updates on case status changes. Does this mean I will get an email every time I am "touched" or just when something major happens like I'm sent an RFE or the 10-year green card is being produced?

Touches (Last Updated) do not effect a case's status - so no emails for 'touches.' (You should only get an email if a NOA is generated; RFE, Transfer, Approval, etc.) :thumbs:
