we have been notified that Sydney has been received in Sydney.

I received an email saying:

Foreign Changeability is listed as: Sri-Lanka

I was born in Sri-Lanka however I was adopted in Australia in 1985. Has there been a mistake, should it have my foreign changeability as Australia ### I am an Australian resident.

thank! :)

I'm sorry, I have NO idea what you're even saying. I doubt if anyone else does either since you've posted this on the 21st of September and no one has responded in 2 days.

You received an email from where? Sydney Consulate? Are you saying your interview should be at the US Consulate in Australia, as you're an Australian resident, but the Consulate is telling you because you were born in Sri-Lanka, that your interview will be there?

If this is so, then please confirm this. If not, please try and tell us more about what you might be asking.

Thanks!

Foreign Changeability is always listed as your country of birth, regardless of where you are a permanent resident.

Okay...so it lists your country of birth. So what? Still don't understand the question. If Foreign Changeability is always the country of your birth regardless of where you're a resident of, then it shouldn't be Australia, right?

So, I don't understand your question. Your country of birth is Sri-Lanka.
