Hi all together,

I hope I can get some information from you all.

My friend she went to the United States in February by K3. Now finally an aos interview appointment was sent to them. But they are both wondering because they got two interview appointments. One in three weeks and the other two weeks after the first.

Neither them nor me we have heard or read something about two interview appointments.

Can someone tell me if it is normal or why they propably got two appointments?

I have to mention that the difference in age between them is more than 30 years and she comes from Africa.

Do you think there will be a fraud interview? They are really concerned although the relationship is true.

I would be glad for any information.

Thanks,

Sergio

If both notices are for an "initial interview" in connection with the I-485, I would simply go to the first one as prepared as possible. These errors do happen and when you don't show up, they tend to simply deny the case because you abandoned it. If they do that, the case file won't be there two weeks later. Go to the first appointment.

Why is it every time people ask about an age difference they fail to mention whether it's the man or woman that's older. It's highly relevant and even critical in some cultures but if they got the visa and have a bona fide relationship, the AOS interview should be easier than the visa intereview at any Consulate in Africa.

Thanks pushrkb fr your answer.

Sorry that I didn't mention that he is older than her.

I don't know the exact content of the letter, but they got the two interview appointments in one single letter. So I doubt it was a mistake of homeland security?

Do you or anyone else know what the reason might be?

Thanks
