Also I think CSC 751 adjudicators are more experienced and deal with them in a more straightforward manner. VSC seems to send out a lot more RFEs even with a decent amount of evidence, as if their adjudicators are following a script rather than being more practical.

Hi ChinaBabe and Everyone,

Likewise, I'd like to know the answer to this too:

Does anybody know why take so much longer for VSC to process I751 than other offices?

It doesn't seem fair that at the CSC it takes an average of 4-5 months, whereas at the VSC it takes an average of 10months-1year, for processing the I-751 cases. There should definitely be some consistency there, especially if they are charging the same amount for the processing at both locations. Why do they think that I-751 cases at the VSC are "less important" than other cases and would rather process those other ones first instead? Didn't they distribute the workload evenly? And why is it that only 2 centres are processing the I-751 cases, instead of the 4 that they before? Oh well, we have only to guess as to what the "real reason" is behind the delay is.....

Oh how they make the people at the VSC wait for what seems like forever for something one is only going to have for a short time! :crying:

Meanwhile, the only thing to do is wait, and be really really patient.....

Ant (Still waiting at the VSC...)

Thanks for the reply.

I was just reading about file the N400. I don't know if anybody noticed that beginning from Oct 14th, only 2 facilities will accept the file. I can only imagine how slow that gonna be.

I feel It's really not fair for me. For I751, I have to file though VSC which take the longest. For N400, they change from 4 offices to 2. For naturalization test, I will have to take the new one, which more difficult.

What a lucky me ?!

Hi ChinaBabe,

Thanks too for the updated information as to where to file the N400. I never knew that they now only accept N400 applications at 2 centres only. Oh well, something to take note of when I file for citizenship next year. I wonder too, since they cut it down now from 4 services centres to 2 service centres, that if there would be another backlog, like they have for the I-751.

Yet more waiting and wondering the "real reason" behind things.....

Oh well, who knows, maybe one will have better luck in "Lewisville, Texas" than in "St.Albans, Vermont"......

Ant (Still waiting at Vermont....)

Thanks for the reply.
