I-864 question. part 3, question 8. i am the only sponsor

On part 3, question 8 - i checked it because i am the sponsor of the principal immigrant. But what is confusing me is the one thing right below it. If i am the only sponsor and do not have a joint sponsor am i suppose to leave it blank or what? On the example form it was checked yes and the example for did not have any joint sponsors either. The reason i am confused is because right next to it, it says (only applicable for in cases with joint sponsors). Anyone with experience could you please help me.

I filled the form 3 days ago. I"m same situation as you are. To my understanding, you only check one box

(ONE ONLY BOX) at the first line next to number 8.
