No whining! Obama did very well during the Bush years. He went from a peon to an elistist US Senator living in a mansion9care of Tony Rezko). I did great, too, and have nothing to complain about except that Obama wants me to give up more of my hard earned money to a government that produces nothing, but wants to suck the livin daylight out of its most productive sector.

Obama became a rich man on the public dime during the Bush years and looked out for his rich friends. What's your excuse for not doing better? Who is responsible for your accomplishments or failures other than you? When was the last time a poor person hired you? You can fall for that class envy ####### Obama peddles but that's negativity I don't need.

Please do us all a favor and don't try to equate what you earn with 'productivity', m'kay?

why not?

Why not?

Because you wouldn't even be able to wipe your privileged butt if there wasn't some guy in a factory somewhere making rolls of toilet paper.

That's why.

Is it hard to understand that Average Wage Earner Joe isn't jealous of your wallet, your car or your house? Most of the people I know respect someone who's worked hard and reaps the rewards of that.

But don't try to diminish what an average person's worth is to society simply because he doesn't get paid what you might earn. I daresay you'd have a hard time even making your commute to work each day if it weren't for the laborers who build roads or the grease monkey who fixed the brakes on your car.

I'll bet the Average Wage Earner isn't demanding a socialist redistribution of income. He respects himself too much to do that. It's hard for you to imagine that rich people aren't all self-centered snobs consumed with class envy, unaware of how the working class fits into our daily routine, but we're not. It's sad what the Democrat Party does to you, making you believe yourself to be a victim that rich people are exploiting, so much that you become easily and overly defensive. So sad.

But the truth is, that toilet paper factory belongs to a rich person or a corporation that will either raise its prices to pass on the added burden, or let him go and move overseas if Obama raises their taxes to spend their money on more programs to support the victim mentality this country is divided by. The schools we support will raise their tuitions because we won't donate so generously if the tax breaks are diminshed. Ours is a symbiotic economy, my dear, but an unequal one. The working class needs me even more than I need them, for I have the assets to move on if annoyed, and I will not be there to buy toilet paper, write that paycheck, or ride that train, resulting in a lack of demand and a loss of jobs.

If class warfare is what you want, vote Obama. I'll still win.

I think he's a commie, too. The way he's got his minions intent on (more) forced distribution of wealth and shutting down free speech when it opposes him is a hint. So sue me.

Sue you? You're just ignorant, that's not against the law. ;)

I'm not ignorant, but you wish I was. It would be a change for the better if the libs could gather together enough brain cells to come up with a response that isn't a groundless personal insult.

Well, I'd come up with a reasonable response to a reasonable argument. All you put forth was some ignorant blabber. I just called it what it is.

You call it ignorant (again) because that seems to be one of the few descriptors you have in your vocabulary (and, in your case, I use that term loosely).

When I see you post a reasonable response, I'll be surprised. When I see you recognize a reasonable response, I'll know hell has frozen over.

Care to look over that statement of yours and point out what in that statement is reasonable?

Strangely enough, one thing I understand about Democrats is sometimes they're a bit worried about others. Unlike Republicans, who only worry about their own selves. +1 points for giving a sh!t about others.

Obama actually suggested cutting corporate taxes, which one must do, but close tax loopholes companies like my uncles used to evade paying taxes, which offsets the high tax costs.

Btw, if you move your service, it will be resumed by someone else. Something businesses who are smart don't overlook. If you don't want to build it, someone else can.

privileged butt ??? I have worked damn hard all my life. Maybe you haven't and can't grasp that concept so anyone who does fairly well in their life is considered privileged in your world. I did not diminish anyone in my post as you are well aware. You seem to want to rant on about something that is clearly a sore point in your life. Of course productivity can be equated to earnings. I am still in awe of the doctor that removed my cancer, and who gets paid more than I do. That man CURES people of cancer. I am sure the toilet roll maker would agree that maybe the life saving doctor role is slightly more productive than his. Jeez.

Sorry for disagreeing, but I really believe if a person equates productivity with wages, they have their perspective skewed. Which is why I referred to your 'privileged butt'.

Of course you should be in awe of the Doctor. I bet Average Wage Earner is too - in awe of the Doctors skills that is.

I'm sure you've worked hard all your life. I have too - I happen to work two jobs at the present. I'm just as proud of what I've accomplished as that Doctor is. I might not cure cancer, but I contribute to the economy just as much as you.

One of my bosses is an attorney. He was born into a wealthy family; he makes a good living in his own right; he will inherit literally millions when his father passes away. He's a damn fine lawyer and an honest one too. One of the things I've always liked about him is how much respect he has for Worker Joe. I've seen him go the houses of little old ladies who worked in the glass factory when they wanted to sign a will before they died. I've seen him take on cases for people who couldn't afford to pay him because they were being run over by corporations.

He's nothing short of a hero for that and deserves all the praise one can get.

Obama wants to tax those making over $250,000. That includes a lot of small business owners. Why work if the government just takes away your money. It's a bid against incentive.

Btw, if you move your service, it will be resumed by someone else. Something businesses who are smart don't overlook. If you don't want to build it, someone else can.

Considering that you don't know what my service is, that's only an assumption. Besides, many businesses have left for wher the grass is greener and not been replaced. Others operate here, but keep a tax shelter corporate base overseas. There are many ways to get around income distribution and our lawyers and lobbyists will make sure of that, no matter who is in office.

Person != corporations.

Corporations are made up of stock holders which in virtually no case are singular.

Wage taxes and corporate taxes are separate, so try and stick to the issue.

I guarantee someone else does your type of service and will do if when and if you don't.

Getting around income distribution is EXACTLY something to do with corporate taxes, but also 100% to do with corporations getting around taxes to begin with. Close the gates on them evading taxes, remove them getting government subsidies, as well (just to further widen the government<=>corporate collusion gap), and lowering corporate taxes becomes more feasible.

Not really, but your jealousy is showing big time. Insha'allah, you will get over it soon.

I didn't need to go to school, I was set for life from birth. I don't have to work, but I do because I love to contribute and to serve God. What I've done for a living for more than 25 years would floor you, but I don't need to try to impress you. You have predetermined notions of who I am, and that is your burden. I know who I am, and I'm just fine.

Think what you want. I have more information on that than do you.

You guys dream of a day when this will come about, but that day, if ever, is far off. By that time, the US will resemble Cuba.

Your refusal to divulge what it is pretty much tells me all I need to know. I guarantee someone else does your service.

Since Cuba has nothing to do with corporate taxes, how about actually explaining (in a useful retort, not a poo-pooing conservative rant about Cuba) the non-feasibility of clamping down upon corporate tax fraud and at the same time lowering corporate taxes.

I absolutely believe that in some cases, earnings do equate to productivity, as in the case of my doctor. I am also nothing but respectful for any person doing any job with pride and conviction. I am sure you are proud of your accomplishments to date and of course you contribute to the economy. I am certainly not arguing that point.
