Hey guys just was wondering are the interviews at Casa Blanca in Arabic or in English???? My husband speaks Arabic and very very lil English.....lets just say I understand him but i dont know what will happen when he goes up for the interview....please if anyone has any information please let us know because we are both scared about this....we are close but yet seems far away....we dont have an interview yet but we are getting closer....i emailed the DS 3032 and paid the fee online....so thats what i mean by we are getting closer....everyone here is so much help and i am so thankful to all who have helped....God Bless...

they can do either as they feel comfortable, prob english is best but dont risk maybe something being said or understanded wrong if he isnt good with the language

he should do the English interview better cause if he said i don't know English i wanna talk Arabic she will tell him how come you wanna live in usa and you don't know English .so you prepare him for the questions and in the interview if he didn't understand a question he have the right to ask for explanation .

wow today i received my APPROVAL LETTER FOR THE ADVANCED PAROLE so here we go . i am waiting for my EAD card to arrive it's on the way i hope i will wake up tomorrow and find it in the mail box lol good like guys

Interviews can be in the local language but there remains the issue of how the couple communicates. Having a common language isn't required by it will take more than a "Let's just say I understand him." to satisfy the Consular Officer the couple has a means of communication.

I'd advise to at least greet the officer in English and tell them, "I speak a little English but I'll understand you better in Arabic."

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

They will conduct the interview in the local language since the CO should speak both. If you speak Arabic and that's how you communicate, then you have nothing to worry about. Many people who come to the US don't speak English since it's not a requirement to get a visa.
