Honeymoon Spots

Originally the plan was to get married on a cruise ship and have one of those destination weddings/honeymoon. But now since we learned about K1s needing AP, that's obviously out the window! Most of his fam & many of our friends there were planning to come.

We weren't really bothered by the actual destination....we've done an extensive amt of traveling all over the place, so there was not one place we both could say stood out as to a 'must visit'...We were going to go to Jamaica or something like that. Now we're just going to go to the FL keys (we both love the keys) & get married there, maybe stay a few days, but that's about it. The real honeymoon will just be being together, doesn't matter where we are!

We'll do the big destination wedding with all our friends and families the year later when he can travel.

We went to Key West and Id go back tomorrow if we could !! So much fun riding around on our little rented scooter !

No honeymoon for us, yet! I refuse to part with our savings for a house just to go on vacation, and now that I'm working and we have the money I don't have the vacation time! sigh. Might go somewhere in September though. Debating between a cruise and just staying local - maybe myrtle beach or kiawah island.

I am thinking it will be a long while before we get a real honeymoon. We have 5 kids between us and it is just not so romantic going somewhere with them lol.

siad so we are planning for Florida or hawaii since our budget would be tight as only one of us will be working.. so would not log on VJ for 5 straight days dude woh!! sweat!!!

I am not too sure where we will go for our honeymoon. its hard to plan when my husband dont have his visa yet. 8 months after his interview. we will go some place for 2 weeks.

You can really good deals in small hotels and B+Bs in Venice....it is much more expensive to rent an appartment....but you should go...it is one of my favourite places....so romantic and awesome.

does anyone know how long it takes to get a.p. ,so you can leave usa,for honeymoon, is it worth putting off a real honeymoon ,until a.p is issued?

don't know how long, we're going to apply for AP, but there are soooo many places within the US that are magnificent....anywhere from the mountains to the ocean. of course, as so many others say, there is always Hawaii
