Hi Guys!

Im preparing documents to bring for my interview..dont have sched yet but just like to be ready.

My fiance' already transfered all his papers as me as benificiary and i got all the copy signed by relevant company. Can i bring that to the interview or am i over doing it?

His benificiary before was his kids. last May he designated me as his sole benificiary. Like his retirement, insurance,savings etc. and i got a copy of that signed by him and company acknowledging that transfer.

DEFINITELY take copies of such. They help show a bonafide relationship. Kids aren't going to be very happy tho!

Kids knew everything and theyre fine with the arrangement. Theyre all grown up and also working in a govt just like their dad. Thanks for the response,

Hi Amy,

The interview in Hong Kong US Consulate is just very easy. Just let your fiance have all original and photocopies of documents that support your ongoing relationship. They will ask for original copies of your fiance's documents then they will return it to him. They will only take the copies. I had my interview in August 2005 at Hong Kong Consulate and my experienced was good. They are all nice and friendly!

Ps. also tell your fiance to bring some photos of you together and with your friends and family.

Hi Amy,

The interview in Hong Kong US Consulate is just very easy. Just let your fiance have all original and photocopies of documents that support your ongoing relationship. They will ask for original copies of your fiance's documents then they will return it to him. They will only take the copies. I had my interview in August 2005 at Hong Kong Consulate and my experienced was good. They are all nice and friendly!

Ps. also tell your fiance to bring some photos of you together and with your friends and family.

Hi guys! thank you for the email and adding us as your friends. I think i have everything needed for the interview but were still waiting for the packet 4. I think USE-HONGKONG is now with different rules to follow for K1 we have to undergo administrative processing or Document verification( Filipinos applicant only)And its been awhile now after we sent back packet 3. Hope to have interview soon.
