Welcome to VJ jolynx!!

You will have to meet income requirements to be able to have your applications approved. If your wife does not make enough on her own, you can get a co-sponsor to help.

Should you wait? I think only you and your wife will know that answer.

There are some very good links here that show you step by step what to do and what you will need to do it. Those links will help you decide if you can do it now or not.

You will have to decide if you want to file the I-130 alone, or with the I-129f (K-3). These days, they are both processing at close to the same speed.

Look under the forums for IR-1/CR-1 and K-3 for those links to help you decide.

Also, you will see that there is a forum for Middle East North Africa....MENA for short. There are many people there with husbands/fiancé’s in Morocco. They can give you some more specific answers as to what your country will require.

Good luck with your journey!!

thanks brother for your informations, i had a look on the guide here and its alot helpful, i asked you if we should apply now or wait till later coz some of my freinds told me that more your relationship is longer more you get approval fast for the k3 visa, and also can her parents or one of her brothers be a co-sponsor and what they need to do ? to fill an application for that or write a letter ? and i read and read the guide for k3 visa and they were talking about l-130 and f-129 both , i mean you send the l-130 and when you get a reply you send again the f-129 , can we just fill one or both of them and does it change anything if we apply for them both ? thanks alot and hope youare doing well

hello JOLYNX...

I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU FILE YOUR PETITION NOW FOR CR1( I-130).... AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS TO FILE AS LISTED ON THE INSTRUCTION... APPROVAL WAITS ABOUT 6 MONTHS SOME MAY BE LESS SOME COULD BE MORE ... THIS WAITING CAN BUY YOU TIME TO PREPARE OTHER EVINDENCES THAT YOU WILL USE IN THE FUTURE... AND BESIDE YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU WILL ENCOUNTER ON THE WAY BETTR YOU ARE IN LINE...

WHAT'S IMPORTANT YOU HAVE THE REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE USCIS TO APROVE YOUR CASE.. WORRY LATER FOR THE EMBASSY BEC AFTER APPROVAL FROM USCIS IT MAY TAKE MONTHS BEFORE THEY CAN SCJED YOU FOR INTERVIEW BEFORE YOU KNOW IH YOU HAVE REACH YOU YEAR ANNIVRSARY...OK GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!!!
