I am planning on sending the I-129F petition for K1 - fiancee visa - via FedEx to :

USCIS

California Service Center

24000 Avila Road

2nd floor Room 2312

Laguna Niguel CA 92677

Please advice if this address is correct or if there is anything else that I need to add. I am leaving in abt 20 minutes. Thanks.

Tomorrow being Saturday, is there any concern for sending it by FedEx. Will the delivery happen on Monday?

9/19/2008 - Mailed I-129F by USPS Priority

9/22 - Mail reached USCIS - CSC

9/23 - Check Cashed

9/23 - NOA1 Notice Date (now wait and pray that NOA2 should come soon!!)

9/27 - NOA1 received by mail

9/29 - Touched (probably to correct typos)

9/30 - Touched

1/14/2009 - NOA2 approved

1/20 - NOA2 hard copy received

1/22 - NVC received petition

1/26 - NVC sent petition to Embassy

1/29 - Received NVC Hard copy

1/30 - Embassy received petition

2/3 - Received P3 from Embassy

2/3 - P3 sent by Courier from India

FedX delivers on Saturday only if you request Saturday delivery and pay the extra... in your case it would be a waste.

YMMV

Compare it to what USCIS has: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

I simply used USPS priority mail certified with a confirmation receipt.

Seriously - best advice is USPS Priority. Just as fast if not faster and will save a bundle.

Yep, I remembered a few posts last year when USCIS bumped the rates up July, 30, 2007, several used FEDEX or UPS and sent package July 28 or 29, and got rejected because USCIS received the package after the rate hike. If they had used USPS, USCIS would have not rejected becaues they use POST MARK as date item sent.

Only USPS can deliver to a PO BOX, and also give a post mark if needed.
