How to deal with this waiting journey?

For me

Chat with him -- 3:30 am to 7 am

Go to work -- 9:30 am to 6 pm

During work-- I wake him up every day at 5 am his time, so we do talk for one hour before he leaves for work.

Come home, eat and sleep -- 9 pm to 3:30 am

And it’s almost the same routine for the past 4 years now. I do go out with friends time to time. When we met first online, I was a student, so studies kept me busy, after studies I got a job and I grabbed it.

I do go out of my small little surrounding every 4-5 months, take a week’s break from net and everything, do keep in touch with him through phones, but I do enjoy my space. And for my husband, he does go out for his regular beer every Friday and he enjoys his time with his WOW games.

But sure there have been sacrifices too, he didn't take a job which paid him a bit better but it had long hours, so if he would have taken that then our timing would have suffered. It’s the same for me too, I didn't take a job which allowed me to go through a lot of outdoor work, taking that job would have suffered the relationship. I guess you just have to keep your priorities right.

Do think we try to be as normal as possible. But seriously you can't have a thriving marriage with this long distance and I do hope this will be the last year to go through this long distance relationship and we can start a life together without any of this distance.
