Good day,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC has completed its processing of the visa petition you mentioned in your letter and has forwarded the petition to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General for further processing.

Any further inquiries should be directed to the assigned US Embassy or Consulate General.

do you really think so??

my lawyer told me not to get too excited but then I swear I have gotten more accurate information from you guys than anyone.

I am calling DOS today to find out the status and see what they say.

Dont you think, when you give your case number and a detailed message regarding the situation that they would only respond, even via email, with accurate info??

I just want a little hope, please god

the lawyer also stated "interview scheduling"..but the email says further processing

if he is scheduled for "interview" is that just to get the visa or another interview??

please help

I agree. But one thing strikes me. Back when we did our CR1/IR1 the NVC scheduled the interview then forwarded it. Has that changed? I would think you would want to call the NVC and find out what the date is if the process hasn't changed. By chance are you doing the K-3? That would be different.

I just looked at your timeline. I must be confused. You already had an interview? Then if that is the case I am guessing that you have been in AP, and now it is back in the hands of the consulate. Why does your lawyer tell you not to get excited? Is there red flags that you think could cause problems?

just a false alarm

i just see how completely desperate I am to hear anything and well with all the good news I have seen coming thru MENA I was just hoping this would be our light however, we are still in the dark
