When you are done with sending all the required documents and processing at the NVC that is when NVC completes the case. This happens before interview dates are assigned and before the case is sent to the foreign embassy but doesn't mean it was on AP. If you are in AP and you have been at the interview and now it is on its way back to the consulate that means that they are going to give you the results soon. You should definately call the consulate in Morrocco to verify if they have received your case. Good luck

Sandrilla, it sounds like your spouse had his interview and was placed in Administrative Processing aka Administrative Review.

This appears to be happening far too much with MENA applicants because their names may not immediately clear the name check.

As HappyInLove stated, AP is not considered a normal stage of NVC.

With regard to the CR-1/IR-1 visa process, USCIS completes a review of your petition (criminal check on USC, essential validity of relationship, etc) to assess if the case is entitled

to apply for a Visa; NVC essentially collects your AOS and IV fees, and reviews your AOS and IV packages. When their review is done, it's considered,

case complete...and sent to the Embassy for your spouse's interview, review of medical, name check, and visa issuance or denial.

So if it's going back to the Embassy, that's ABSOLUTELY a good thing. Not knowing all the aspects of your case, this is my educated guess based

on information available.
