morning.....5am sure is early to be waking up...I guess this is how most of the world feels working an 8-5 job...My one day where i work early and get off early, and geez it sucks...

I had family over for a bbq yesterday hence me being absent from VJ....annie, got your text but was sleeping...i hope i didnt miss anything tooo good in the text to follow :)

Good morning Friday! Oh its good to say this word "Friday"! I live for 3pm on Fridays! Although I am getting off work early today at 1230. My hubster has to go back to the civil surgeon today for the second half of his medical. I pray its almost over but I think he will have to have one more test.

Any good plans this weekend? We are having Iftar tonight, Saturday and Sunday at the mosque. Other than that cleaning and catching up on laundry.

I hope that you all have a great weekend :D I'm home sick today, first day I've called out in a year I think (my boss was in shock! hehe) , but I believe the flu has hit me with the nasty high fever, muscle shakes and all it's nastiness. :blink: I am about to be stuck in the house sick with my 6 year old son, my 1.5 year old baby cousin, my husband, and the new kitten, let us hope that I survive :unsure:

Happy Friday, MENA!

One of the neighborhood cats left a gift (mostly just a few feathers) on our front stoop. My husband said someone is trying to "engage" our little cat, Spring. She couldn't care less -- she sits up in the window, preens, and ignores the suitors. But it's time to get her fixed before she begins to take notice.

Hubby and I were watching some crime drama early this morning. In response to the actions of one of the characters, I told him about our expression, "If you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas," and asked if he had a similar one. He grinned and said they do: "If you eat suhoor with children, you won't fast that day." :unsure:

Got a whole five hours or so of sleep last night. Woo-hoo! Now it's time to get productive.
