NBI AND POLICE CLEARANCE...DO I NEED BOTH?

Got NBI clearances in both my maiden and married names. Do I do the same with police clearances? Do I need a police clearance to start with even if I have not been to any other country?

12-09-08 - INTERVIEW @ 6:30AM...God be with us! --- APPROVED!!!

12-11-08 - VISAS RECEIVED....YAHOOOOO!!!

04-07-09 - POE: Chicago O'hare

04-28-09 - received SSN's (after having to apply for them personally!!!!)

04-30-09 - Received our 2-year GREEN CARDS

01-07-09 - ROC, here we come!!!

01-18-11 - Mailed out I-751

you only need the NBI clearance but if you resided abroad for 6 mos or more then you need the police clearance of that country as well. good luck!

"You dont need police clearance if u already have NBI at di ka nag out of the country..police clearance ay para dun lang sa mga lumabas ng pilipinas nagpunta ng ibang bansa at inabot ng 6 months.hope this help!!!goodluck sis!!
