How long temporaly Permanent Resident can be out of States?

I got 1 year to go to Brazil by Advance of Parole because my mother was much sick.I did stay there of 05/09/2007 to 05/03/2008. I came back with my GC ( 06/26/2007).My husband took to me.I must go again in December now to visit my father ,94 years old and my son.I have the temporaly GC.How long can I be there ? One month? less?Can I apply for GC 10 years 90 days before 06/26/2009 without problem ? How they do count this time out? Is it the total or each time ?

A month would not be a problem.
