None of really unfortunately surprises me.. it has to be half way expected when you replace a dictator with an occupier who believes they are the solution to the a problem they really helped create to begin with.

Exactly! This vaunted pre-emptive action is nothing but a continuation of the shitty selfish thinking that caused the majority of these problems in the first place. When are we going to learn that we can't solve the problems of the 3rd world with bombs and troop deployment?

Quite frankly its amazing how the justifications for this conflict have shifted from an issue of 'direct imminent threat against us' to 'liberate the poor Iraqis from their evil dictator'. The humanitarian angle, as with most of these types of things was never anything more than coincidental. Seriously its disgusting that people claim otherwise.
