USCIS will only reschedule your interview in a life or death situation, some people here on VJ have tried to change the date and have got a denial of AOS for failing to turn up for their interview. do a search here on VJ for cancelled interviews and rescheduling interviews, the posts make scarry reading.

You have come so far in your visa journey would it not be best to reschedule your trip and get your greencard sorted out and then you will be free to travel anytime you want.

It can be anything from 2 weeks to a month, do a search on VJ for others that are going through the same local office as you are, that will give you a good idea about how long you may have to wait for your interview.

Hi,

My local office is Seattle. I just got my interview letter for mid October. Filed in late January, biometrics in late February. Had just under a month notice of interview. When did you file (your timeline is blank!)? Your interview might happen before December, with luck!
