CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!

Dear All,

I received an email this morning at 11:30 am saying that my green card has been ordered! I filed I-751 over ten months ago and let me just say that the last few weeks have been quite emotionally tedious... waiting, waiting, waiting...And then, I went to church yesterday, meditated and felt a great sense of peace!

And then this morning, I got the email at work... let me just say that I felt both hot and cold at the same time... I am so grateful to God! And to you all on this friendly and informative board.

My evidence consisted of the basics: current lease, 2 years of joint tax returns, 2 joint bank statements from 05 and 06, joint health insurance for both of us, joint car insurance, emails to each other, pre-approval for a house we were going to buy, miscellaneous official letters and 2 affidavits from friends. No photos. I did however write a simple cover and listed what we have, and we both signed it.

To those who are still waiting, please have faith and know that your day will surely come...I have a feeling that VSC just got very serious with I-751 cases and the approvals will begin flowing in more consistently.

Hi Piez,

:star: Congratulations, Piez for getting your 10yr Green Card!!! :star:

After such a long 10 month wait, you deserve it! It's good to know that the VSC is doing something, even if it takes a long long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for you, Piez!

Good luck too on your Citizenship application and the rest of your immigration journey!
