I don't want to begin a new topic about processing time so I will put my question here. I read the USCIS employee questions/answers thing, which was very interesting. But, how can you explain that for people (same country, same state office) it will take 4 months between the NO1 and the NOA2, and for other it will take 1 month ? I have some doubts... And like I said country FRANCE, office CALIFORNIA, case SIMPLE.

Good evening, I do understand your frustration. I just looked at a couple of K-1 filers for MAY, and it seems it could be country specific. I noticed that some Canadian and Swedish applications have been approved for NOA2 with filing times either days before mine or even weeks after mine was approved for NOA1. So if certain countries are being pulled forward for whatever reason...the applications are not being porcessed in the order that they arrive.

Country has nothing to do with it. It may seem so, but VJers are a small portion of the actual numbers. Each case is unique and people may get held up in different security checks. Also, some workers just work faster than the others. For example, May's petitions are split between 10 workers, as are June's. If three adjudicators get all of their may ones done, they will start their june piles, while the other 7 may still be at different stages of their May piles. That is why you see discrepancies in time lines. Certain high-fraud country petitioners may get caught up, but usually that happens in the Embassy stages.

If you look at may from VSC, in the last 3 weeks people have been approved from Canada, Sweden, Ukraine, Russia, Philippines, Mexico, UK, Scotland etc.

Maybe you're right about some issues, but the problem seems to point to Vermont. VSC is able to approve quicker because they're still sending CSC transfered applications. And I'm not buying the high fraud country theory, I'm not new at traveling to other countries. Brazil may be a "Third world country", but they're one of the fastest "up and coming" countries that's recognized by the U.S. Most of those recently approved K-1 applicants that I mentioned earlier (Canada & Sweden) are out of Vermont (VSC). This is just my observation.

i really don't know what does it mean but he keep saying that for awhile .!!!!!!!

it doesn't make any sense

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Thanks for the article. It answered a lot of questions I had about the processing times. My husband & I have been waiting since March 2008 for our NOA2 and still nothing. It's puzzling and depressing and frustrating. Is this out of the processing time yet? I see that others who filed after us have their NOA2 already. --Amor1 & Papi

It's ok to vent! I feel the same way - our NOA1 date is May 29th and they approved many ppl after us. Nothing we can do about it, unfortunatelly. I guess just stay patient! It shouldn't be much longer! :star:

Jen--I must differ w/u on this one. I do think country of beneficiary has something to do w/it. When I look at the time lines for people from a European country/Canada/Asian country, their NOA2s arrive much faster than those from Central America/Mexico/Africa/the Middle East. I'm not sure what the reason for this may be, and I don't think it's b/c of more errors in completion of the original petition b/f filing, but there's an OBVIOUS trend. This is quite disturbing to me, and when this process is over, I'll work to ensure that others don't suffer in the same way. May be it's a sign that I need to change my profession b/c I want our immigration process to be fair and consistent and objective from beginning to end for everyone, no matter the country of the loved one.**No insult to you & your thinking, but I do see a different trend, and I'm not angry at those of you who are benefitting from it. I'm just sad for those of us who are honest, hard working American citizens, hoping to be reunited but left waiting and waiting and waiting. All the best to all of you--Amor1
